What is VacayPlot?

VacayPlot is an AI-powered travel planning tool. Tell it where you want to go, when, and what you love — food, hiking, museums, nightlife, a relaxed or packed pace — and it builds a personalized day-by-day itinerary you can save, revisit, and refine.

How does the itinerary generation work?

We send the trip preferences you enter (destination, dates, interests, budget, pace, and any notes) to an AI model from OpenAI, which drafts a structured itinerary tailored to you. Generation usually takes under a minute; you'll see live progress while it works.

Is VacayPlot free?

Yes — VacayPlot is free to use, with a daily limit on itinerary generations. A Pro plan with unlimited trips and revisions is coming soon — see our Pricing page for details. If we introduce paid plans, pricing will be clearly shown before you're ever charged, and our Refund Policy will apply.

Do I need an account?

You can browse the site and our travel articles without an account, but you'll need one to generate and save itineraries. You can sign up with Google in one click or with your email address and a password.

Why do I need to verify my email?

If you sign up with an email and password, we send a verification link to confirm the address belongs to you. This keeps accounts secure and prevents abuse. Click the link in the email, then hit "Go To App" — you'll land right back in VacayPlot, verified and ready to plan. If the email doesn't arrive, check your spam folder or use the resend button.

Can I change an itinerary after it's generated?

Yes. Open any saved trip and request a revision — for example, "make day two more relaxed" or "add more food experiences." VacayPlot regenerates the plan with your feedback applied, so your itinerary evolves until it feels right.

Are my trips saved?

Every itinerary you generate while signed in is saved to your dashboard automatically, so you can come back to it on any device just by logging in.

How accurate are the itineraries?

Itineraries are AI-generated suggestions, not confirmed bookings. They're a great starting point, but opening hours, prices, and availability change — always double-check details and book flights, hotels, and tickets through the providers directly.

Can VacayPlot book flights or hotels for me?

Not yet. VacayPlot focuses on the planning: what to do, in what order, at your pace. You handle bookings with the airlines, hotels, and venues of your choice.

What happens to my data?

Your account details and saved trips are stored securely, and your trip preferences are only shared with the services needed to run VacayPlot (like OpenAI for itinerary generation). We never sell your data. The full details are in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

How do I delete my account?

Email support@vacayplot.com from your account's email address and we'll delete your account and associated data within 30 days.
